But what if their beauty didn't come at the cost of damage to the earth they grew in?
While many florists are jumping on the "green" bandwagon to keep up with current trends, Floressence has been offering clients the option to have organically grown, Veriflora, Free-Trade Certified or locally grown blooms for their weddings and events since our inception in 2004.
Through the years this commitment has granted us the opportunity of continuing to work alongside many conscious mined businesses such as Conscious Choice Magazine (now Mindful Metropolis), Allyu Spa and Greg Christian Catering. Like Floressence, these companies have always and continue to share our point of view that "being green" requires commitment and dedication to a conscious lifestyle, not the latest trend.
Green weddings are part of a larger trend towards environmental consciousness and protection. It takes a florist with years of knowledge, experience and dedication in this relatively new sector of the floral industry to ensure that your "green" flowers are coming from a trusted and reliable source. Since March of 2004, my mission has been simple...to create beautiful floral desings for every client.
While awe-inspiring displays of grand pillars, towering floral arrangements, billowing fabric, and intricate lighting are the stuff that many Brides' floral dreams are made of, some only crave an intimate gathering of their absolute closest family and friends in the perfect setting.
For these Brides, elegantly simple and organic inspired designs which showcase the natural beauty of the flowers are exactly what are in order and exactly the type of designs that Floressence continues to be known for delivering time and time again.
I create wedding floral designs because I love meeting new people. I believe that everyone’'s life has a rich story and history. Your wedding day is the beginning of a new era in your lives as individuals and as one...I am humbled and honored by being able to be a part of such an intimate moment in the lives of my clients.

Our wedding floral designs are created in a private design studio and our fresh flowers and supplies are purchased on an event-oriented basis, allowing us to truly customize each wedding with the best and freshest product on the market. Because our designs are also sold with a modest mark-up, Floressence is able to offer every client the most beautiful high-end designs and floral varieties at some of the most competitive pricing available in the Chicagoland area.

Wow, what can I say about Ebony and her services? She was very attentive to my needs and wants. We met prior to the day and she had a mock up bouquet which looked beautiful and exactly what I wanted!
Ebony's prices were very affordable and she goes above and beyond her price and services. The day of the wedding I was quite surprised and very appreciative that my bouquet turned from beautiful at the first meeting to outstanding the day of. All bridesmaids bouquets and grooms/groomsmen bouts were exactly what I wanted and I couldn't have been more pleased.
We got so many compliments from everyone! She also helped with the ceremony decorations by sending long stemmed large white calla lilies. She delivered the flowers herself and was exactly on time.
